ArtReach Educator

Boise Art Museum seeks a part-time ArtReach Educator to support educational programs for students and teachers by engaging them in activities within the Museum, including interactive discussions and hands-on projects, to create enjoyable and meaningful educational experiences. Hours are 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.  Tuesday through Friday, dependent upon program registrations. Compensation is $25 per hour.  Minimum Qualifications

BA or MA in art education, education, or related field, or equivalent background and experience. Experience with classroom/student management, teaching, and curriculum development. Demonstrated enjoyment of and ability to work well with teachers and students of all ages. Ability to convey art concepts and to teach art processes. Ability to use technology, such as Ipads, laptops, projectors, and to use PowerPoint and other presentation programs. Ability to stay calm and to adapt in varied situations. Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehension of the English.
