Boise Art Museum seeks an experienced Curator of Education to support its educational mission by managing the educational programs of the Museum for all audiences, working within the local, regional, and national educational spheres to facilitate programs that foster learning through high-quality, meaningful educational experiences with original works of art.  The attached job description provides full details of the roles and responsibilities for this position.  Please send resume, an education-focused writing sample, and three references to [email protected]

Minimum Qualifications/Education

4 – 5 years of experience developing, implementing and administering educational programs for an art museum.  3 – 4 years of art curriculum design and delivery children and adults.  Competency with desktop computer, presentation software, spreadsheet software.  Effective organizational, project management, and presentation skills.  At least two (2) years of personnel supervision experience.

Master’s degree in art education, art history, and/or related field; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate should excel at working in a fast-paced and dynamic organization, and must have flexible availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
