PURPOSE:  To oversee the Grace Center’s fundraising efforts and to develop relationships with individual, community, and/or business partners.

 

JOB SUMMARY: The Community Partnership Director is responsible to raise funds to assist with the financial responsibilities of the Grace Center through the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising plans that includes individual donor gifts, corporate and foundation giving, planned giving, and special events, etc. The job also includes identifying and stewarding relationships with prospective donors and working closely with the marketing team in the creation of solicitation materials for organizational fundraising.

 

REPORTS TO:  The Executive Director

 

TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS, and EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferred post high school education (i.e. Certifications, Associates, Bachelors, or higher.)
  • Required experience and ability in visionary leadership
  • Preferred experience working in non-profit organization(s)
  • Preferred experience in nonprofit fundraising
  • Required excellent written and/or verbal communication skills for both public speaking and one-on-one engagement

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. To develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to increase revenue and achieve our organizational goals
  2. To identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and community organizations to secure gifts, sponsorships, and grants
  3. To create fundraising materials and campaigns that communicate our mission and values to target audiences
  4. To manage and oversee, with the help of the Board of Directors and fundraising team, all fundraising events, ensuring effective planning and implementation
  5. To develop and maintain a donor database, ensuring accurate and timely recording of gifts and effective communication with donors
  6. To provide regular fundraising reports to the Board of Directors
  7. To maintain an awareness of fundraising trends within the nonprofit community
