Medical Biller

We are a locally owned mental health clinic looking for a medical biller who is passionate about their work and has grit and problem solving skills to resolve internal and external priorities. We are seeking a candidate that can fit both our professional and cultural servant leadership values.  (experience in Coding and/or Credentialing is a plus) 

This position requires the employee to maintain a working knowledge of payer specific guidelines through ongoing training and interaction with various payers. This position's main focus will be on Billing mental health codes for medication management and psychotherapy in office and telehealth. Customer service excellence is a must! Ability to take direction from Management and keep a positive and professional attitude at all times will give you success in this position.

This position is in office, full-time, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The position is hourly with the ability to flex some of your time throughout the day/week for work/life balance for appointments. No overtime. Responsibilities: Medical billing for most commonly used Psychiatric medical and psychotherapy codes,  claim submission criteria, Basic understanding of EMR functionality, Basic understanding of revenue cycle, HIPAA/PHI/OIG/CMS, local, state and federal regulations.
