Salary: $70,000-$85,000 - commensurate with experience

Beyond Pink is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by breast cancer through financial support, awareness campaigns, and community outreach. We believe in creating meaningful impact through compassionate service and strategic engagement.

Position Summary

Beyond Pink is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth. The Executive Director (ED) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s operations, fundraising, volunteer engagement, and community relations. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the ED will work closely with staff, volunteers, donors, and partners to fulfill our mission and expand our impact.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Partner with the Board to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Represent the organization in the community, media, and public forums.
• Provide leadership to staff and volunteers while fostering a collaborative culture.

Fundraising & Financial Management

• Develop and execute long-term fundraising strategies.
• Cultivate donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.
• Manage the annual budget and ensure strong financial oversight.

Operations & Administration

• Oversee daily operations, compliance, and internal processes.
• Supervise staff and contractors.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance (including HIPAA, permits, licenses).

Community Engagement & Communications

• Act as the primary spokesperson for Beyond Pink.
• Lead marketing efforts including newsletters, social media, and promotional campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

Volunteer Coordination

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, learning, and mission alignment.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
• Background in creating both donor cultivation and donor stewardship programs.
• Strong fundraising background with demonstrated successes in annual giving and major gifts
• Experience creating and managing organizational budgets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• Passion for breast cancer awareness and support.
• Experience working with diverse communities.
• Strong local and regional networks.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
