Teton Regional Land Trust’s (TRLT) vision is to conserve farms and ranches, fish and wildlife habitat, and scenic open spaces in eastern Idaho for this and future generations. Covering six counties in the Upper Snake River watershed, TRLT has worked with private landowners to permanently protect more than 43,000 acres of critical wildlife habitat, working farms, and waterways in eastern Idaho.
Summary of Position
TRLT is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as our Development Director. This individual will lead and grow TRLT’s outreach and fundraising efforts to support land acquisition, stewardship, community engagement, and TRLT’s annual operating budget of $1.25M. The successful candidate will be experienced with various aspects of fundraising, be dynamic, detail-oriented, self-directed, and dedicated to TRLT’s mission.
The Development Director is responsible for creating and executing a long-term fundraising and associated communications plans to advance the organization’s strategic goals, including annual giving, major gifts, foundation grants, corporate support, planned giving and special events. The Development Director supervises the Outreach and Events Coordinator and Engagement Coordinator. The Development Director is a full-time, professional position with a competitive salary and benefits.
